‘Buying Group’ means a business that has buying access to the products sold on Heartland Rural Supplies Ltd

‘We’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refer to Heartland Rural Supplies Ltd

‘You’ and ‘your‘ refer to the you as the purchaser

General

These T&C’s are the terms that we offer for the purchase of products on our Website.
All purchasers on this Website will be prompted to accept these T&C’s.
If you do not accept these T&C’s, your purchase will not proceed.
Registration as a Heartland Rural Supplies Ltd member is deemed acknowledgement of your
acceptance of our T&C’s, however, your acceptance will also be requested when a purchase is made
to ensure you accept them in their updated (if applicable) form.
These T&C’s may be changed occasionally. Changes will be effective as soon as they are posted on the Website. You need to ensure that you are familiar with the latest T&C’s, your continued use of the Website indicates your acceptance of any changes. You must be located in New Zealand to purchase products on the Website.

Fair Trading Act

Purchases made on the Website are covered by the Fair Trading Act.
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product originates; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act.

 

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

Products sold on the Website are guaranteed under the Consumers Guarantees Act 1993
The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Heartland Rural Supplies Ltd. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, we have the right to repair, replace or a refund you for the product.

Warranty Policy

Heartland Rural Supplies Ltd’s warranty policy covers products for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Warranty claims cover any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing process. Damage or faults occurring as a result of misuse, accident, or wear and tear are not covered by the warranty policy.
If you feel that the product you have purchased is faulty and is covered under these warranty conditions, please contact us with as much detail readily available as possible (including a photo of the issue if possible). We will asses your claim and advise you of your resolution.

Returns Policy

To keep costs down we do not accept any returns except where the reason for the return is covered by either the above warranty condition, Consumers Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act.
You must ensure that when placing your order that the contents in your shopping cart are correct and that accidental additions have not been made. Once your order is placed it can not be changed or returned.
Any costs incurred due to incorrectly entered personal information are the responsibility of the member. Accepted Warranty returns/returns accepted at the discretion of Heartland Rural Supplies Ltd that have met the here mentioned criteria remain the full property & responsibility of the account holder until returned to our physical warehouse

Heartland Rural Supplies Ltd membership

Becoming a Member: It is free to become a Heartland Rural Supplies Ltd member. Membership is only available to New Zealand residents that can form a legally binding contract; for example, you must be 18+ years old. By becoming a member you declare that you take full responsibility for all actions taken through your membership account.

Sale, lease, loan or trading of Heartland Rural Supplies Ltd memberships is not permitted. Noncompliance could result in the loss of membership privileges including purchase completion. You must not damage or attempt to damage, interfere with or harm the Website or any network, or system underlying or connected to it. You may not use a robot, spider, scraper or other unauthorized automated means to access the Website or information featured on it for any purpose

Privacy

When registering as a member and or submitting a purchase requirement, the personal information that you provide must be truthful, current and complete. Maintenance to ensure your personal information is always current is your responsibility. We may contact you to verify these details. Any costs incurred due to incorrectly entered personal information are the responsibility of the member.

You agree that Heartland Rural Supplies Ltd and our direct supplier partners may use personal information collected about you, including your registration details and information relating to your use of the Website and the content you access for research purposes to assist to provide a better service. We will not sell or allow external third parties to access your personal information without your consent. We must release account and other personal information when it is necessary to comply with NZ law. Agencies with authority enabling them to request information from us include, but are not restricted to, the New Zealand Police, Inland Revenue Department and Ministry Of Economic Development.

Termination of membership

We reserve the right to decline registration or to terminate your membership without entering into further discussions with you. We may terminate your membership if a serious complaint is received or if we believe your behaviour is/was unacceptable.

Security of your login information

You are responsible for keeping your login information, including your email address and password, secret and secure. You must agree to not permit any other person to use your membership.

Emails and newsletters

Heartland Rural Supplies Ltd will occasionally send emails relating to your membership, your purchase history and any Website updates or product specials. Information of how to be removed from the mailing list will be clearly available on your account details page

Orders, price and payment

Products must be ordered as instructed on the Website.

Product pricing quoted on the Website at the time of making your order are inclusive of GST.

A separate charge for shipping and handling (“Shipping Charge”), if applicable, will be shown at the time of purchase and on the invoice which will be emailed to you when your order is processed. Shipping costs are quoted as within New Zealand only. We currently do not ship product outside of New Zealand.

You will pay the Price and Shipping Charge by either a credit card acceptable to us, by bank deposit or cheque. You are bound to pay us once we accept your order, cleared payment must be received by us before the Products are sent to you.

All payments are payable in New Zealand dollars.

Ownership

From the time of accepted delivery of the products, ownership and responsibility for the products will pass to you and you will then bear the risk of any loss, damage or deterioration of or to the products.

Product Specifications and Images
From time to time our suppliers may change their specifications and product images. Every effort is made to ensure the Website displays the correct image and specifications; however, Internet Retailers cannot guarantee the product displayed will be identical to that received.

Heartland Rural and other marks indicated on our website are trademarks of Heartland Rural Supplies Limited, or its subsidiaries (collectively Heartland Rural). Heartland Rural’s graphics, logos, page headers, button icons, scripts and service names are the trademarks or trade dress of Heartland Rural. Heartland Rural’s trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not Heartland Rural’s, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers, or in any manner that disparages or discredits Heartland Rural. All other trademarks, logo’s or slogans not owned by Heartland Rural that appear on this website are the property of their respective owners, who may or may not be affiliated with, connected to, or sponsored by Heartland Rural.
